Ealanta Loch Abair is a collective of ten professional visual artists working and living in Lochaber in the heart of the West Highlands of Scotland.
Ealanta Loch Abair, meaning 'creative Lochaber' aims to showcase the variety of work created there, drawing not only on the landscapes but on the riches of the natural world, folklore and tradition, with all of which Lochaber is wonderfully endowed.
The group of artists believe that working together to promote each other's work will enable more people to see and appreciate its many diverse qualities, the range and energy of the collectives work, which is testament to a vibrant community, deserves to be seen by a wider audience.
Ealanta Loch Abair offers galleries the opportunity to exhibit its members work individually or as an 'Ealanta Group Show'.
The collective offers complete marketing & publication support to enable galleries to best promote its members' work.
